Dear Rigo, thank you for pointing this out. Indeed, semantic interoperability does not only affect the dataspace layer but also the data layer. Plus, some methodologies or solutions can surely be applied to both. Looking forward to your report after the workshop has finished, and if there will be any papers or other reports available for us. Thank you for your continued efforts in bridging all the various existing initiatives including our Dataspaces CG. The Community Group is a very good place to talk about gaps of interoperability, as opposed to the typical standardisation gap analysis that just lists things. And this interoperability is a continuum. Because it does not affect dataspaces, but also the sources of data that create the flow and streams into the dataspace. And in that respect, I wanted to hint at the AIOTI Workshop on Semantic Interoperability for Digital Twins next week at ERCIM premisses in Sophia Antipolis: https://www.ercim.eu/events/aioti-workshop-on-semantic-interoperability-for-digital-twins I just mention it to bring in another dimension of interoperability we should talk about in this Group. (And also to show that I'm looking at this group) I hope we will be able to present the results of the Workshop also to this Group. -- Rigo Wenning ERCIM/W3C Legal counsel
