RE: First Telecon for RDF Data Shapes WG

Hi Arnaud,

Thanks for initiating the communication. I will be available to attend next Wednesday meeting.

Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sumit Purohit. I am a Computer Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Lab, which is a USA Dept. Of Energy Research Lab. My research work includes Linked Data Publishing, Semantic Web and Knowledge Management System. I have been actively participating in "Data On The Web Best Practices" (DWBP) working group too. I hope i will be able to contribute to this working group in the future.

I am planning to attend next TPAC remotely, so i can definitely attend few sessions of this working group. Every group needs to request facilities for remote participation so i think someone from our group (may be you) should contact W3C staff. This may be a point of discussion in our next meeting agenda.

Also for me personally, If I am not wrong there is a time conflict between this group and DWBP group.

Hope to talk to other group members in the next conference call.

Thanks
Sumit Purohit

Subject: First Telecon for RDF Data Shapes WG

Hi all and welcome to the RDF Data Shapes WG!

As you know we are set to have our first face to face meeting at TPAC on October 30-31 in Santa Clara CA. That means we have a very short runway before that and to make the meeting as productive as possible I would like to try and have at least one teleconference before that so that we can start learning about each other and what we need to do.

I apologize for the short notice but I propose we have a call next Wednesday (15 October) at 11am ET. I will update the WG page with the details as soon as I've got write access - we're still trying to get things set up evidently - but please try to accommodate.

https://www.w3.org/2014/data-shapes/wiki/Main_Page#Meetings

This will be an informal call so interested people who haven't joined yet but are considering doing so can call in too.

If you haven't registered for TPAC yet, online registration closes today so you'll be stuck with trying to register on site. If that's your case, please, do let us know now so we can still plan accordingly.

Thank you.
