I think we need to find some other criteria for deciding. I agree there will be other criteria. But I don't think we should ignore the fact that there are already thousands of people who know SPARQL, while there are probably 10 people who know ShEx. The latter needs to have really strong arguments for it to overcome the established languages. Holger
