From what I have seen, many clients have already had a data layer in development and rather than completely redeploying their data layer, rather used the standard to help append what they already have. Not sure if that helps.

I recently came across the submission for the Customer Experience Digital Data Layer<http://www.w3.org/2013/12/ceddl-201312.pdf>. Since this proposal in December of 2013, have you seen momentum with this being more widely adopted as a standard? I would love to learn about the impact it has had to the industry.
