CSV WG: Introduction of Raphael Troncy, EURECOM

Hello all,

Apologies, I couldn't make today's call but I will definitively try to
make the next ones.

I'm Raphaël Troncy [1], an associate professor in EURECOM (Sophia
Antipolis, south east of France) part of Institut Mines Telecom where I
lead a small research team on Multimedia Semantics and Interaction [2].
I'm also the AC Rep for the Institut Telecom member. I'm working with
semantic web technologies since nearly 15 years. I have designed a
number of vocabularies / ontologies, as well as produced datasets in the
Linked Open Data cloud.

I'm familiar with W3C practices, having co-chair the Multimedia
Semantics Incubator Group [3] and the Media Fragments Working Group [4].
I have also been involved in many other groups, and in particular, the
Government Linked Data WG.

I'm involved in the French Datalift project [5] which has, among others,
been the initiator of the LOV framework now hosted at OKFN. The Datalift
platform has a module that performs CSV2RDF and we have then designed an
approach for iteratively change this RDF into a better RDF using
well-known vocabularies when possible.

I'm looking forward to work with all of you!

   Raphaël
