Reviving the CSS Print community group

Hi Everyone,

I have just returned from the PageBreak Conference in San Francisco https://www.pagebreakconf.com <https://www.pagebreakconf.com/>. We had an “unconference” session where we discussed single-source workflows and using HTML and CSS for print, and there was a lot of enthusiasm to try to create more of a community.

This community group was created after XML Prague in February 2020. We all know what happened in March 2020, so it’s not surprising that we all got distracted. Let’s try again! Some of the goals we mentioned during the meeting:

1. Showcase what is possible with CSS print with something like a print version of CSS Zen Garden.
2. Advocate for CSS print with standards organizations, browsers, publishers, toolmakers, etc.
3. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge amongst the members of our community.

We can use this mailing list to talk about what we would like to accomplish, and how. I look forward to reconnecting with all of you!

Sincerely,

Dave Cramer
