lukewarlow has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-selectors] What should the specificity of functional :invalid() and :user-invalid() == In https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/1525 we resolved to add a new functional version of `:invalid` and `:user-invalid()` which will allow authors to style based on different validity states of form controls. This issue is to discuss if these needs extra specificity compared to the non-functional counterpart.
