The CSS Working Group just discussed ``[css-gaps] Multicol: Allow column rules to go through row gaps created by `wrap` ``, and agreed to the following: * `RESOLVED: Column decorations can go through row gaps (same as grid rows). No change to spec.` <details><summary>The full IRC log of that discussion</summary> <hoch> astearns: Kevin, you had this proposal to close no change?<br> <hoch> javierct: For this one basically it boils down to the question we kindof resolved already in the F2F that we do want to allow column rule to go behind spanners if the rule-break none is specified. What about wrap?<br> <hoch> javierct: There might be some concerns about readability, or with a future where there are different size widths per row. In which case maybe it wouldn't make sense.<br> <hoch> javierct: We are proposing to leave as No Change for now. If the future comes with different size widths columns per row we can re-evaluate.<br> <fantasai> So the proposed resolution is "Column decorations can go through row gaps. No change to spec."<br> <fantasai> ?<br> <fantasai> PROPOSED: Column decorations can go through row gaps (same as grid rows). No change to spec.<br> <hoch> PROPOSED: Column decorations can go through row gaps. No change to spec.<br> <kbabbitt> +1<br> <hoch> RESOLVED: Column decorations can go through row gaps (same as grid rows). No change to spec.<br> </details> -- GitHub Notification of comment by css-meeting-bot Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/13453#issuecomment-4083294827 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
