Thanks for the clarification, that helps a lot. My original concern was mainly around whether this would introduce a behavioral change for developers already using the property. From your explanation, it’s clear now that even though the property isn’t explicitly inherited today, its behavior already effectively works that way in practice, and that adding inheritance here is really a spec-side standardization of existing behavior rather than a change in semantics. Given that there aren’t any breaking behavioral changes for developers already using the feature, my concerns are resolved, and I’m comfortable taking this back off the agenda.
