> W3C systeam has asked that the DNS be transferred over to them. Peter has said he is not ready to transfer it, apparently in the belief that some services like Shepherd are critical and have not been replaced. This is 100% false, I never said anything of the sort. 1) Shepherd has been offline for quite some time, there have been no discussions of replacing or maintaining it. 2) The wiki used to rely on the user accounts from the legacy draft server (which were shared with Shepherd). The legacy draft server is offline and the wiki is in read-only mode. As you are aware from other discussions you've been a part of. 3) The reason the DNS for the wiki hasn't been shifted to the new service is, as I've said elsewhere, due to the fact that there are open issues with the new wiki service and it hasn't been communicated to me, by the WG, that the WG feels the new wiki is ready for the DNS to be switched. I've gone out of my way to keep the old wiki online as a reference until I hear otherwise. 4) I've also said that I'm not going to transfer the domain registrations to the W3C because I've been asked not to, by multiple members of the WG. We need to work out something else where the WG keeps control of the domains. -- GitHub Notification of comment by plinss Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12743#issuecomment-4006987423 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
