If the arguments to `ident()` are not variables, we can still check at parse time. If they are variables, we already have a well-defined behavior for what we do: IACVT.

For cases where the type is known, I quite like @andruud’s mock evaluation approach.

Anyhow, Agenda+ so we could resolve this.
