> ([#](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10249#issuecomment-3230032757)) I am once again being bitten by this, for the exact same reason I was originally bitten by it: it is _impossible_ to use the MQ if you want to use an in-page toggle as well. With https://drafts.csswg.org/mediaqueries-5/#script-control-user-prefs being a thing (on paper), shouldn’t that be the way to implement a toggle/override? As in: - Leave the meta tag as a _hint_ for the browser (similar to `color-scheme` on `:root`) - Use the script control to force-override that hint. -- GitHub Notification of comment by bramus Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10249#issuecomment-3714269141 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
