This doesn't make sense to me as currently written. We can only _determine position fallback styles_ from some _computed_ style, not from specific keyframes (nor "states of a transition").

Without further explanation, I also don't understand exactly what it means that "later keyframes must take into account the result of earlier keyframes".

I think we need to define this in terms of "alternative computed styles" (like the before-change style) being used to _determine position fallback styles_ rather than things being "suspended" at certain times.
