Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-overflow-5] Discrete versus navigation scroll marker mode (#12122)

The CSS Working Group just discussed `[css-overflow-5] Discrete versus navigation scroll marker mode`, and agreed to the following:

* `RESOLVED: adapt the rest of may 29th proposal with the Tabs links terminology`

<details>
The full IRC log of that discussion

<ydaniv> flackr: we talked about the need for having scroll marker modes getting a11y, and it's complicated
<ydaniv> ... we last resolved on exploring, [missed]
<ydaniv> ... I added a comment with a link ti experiment
<ydaniv> ... if there's no concerns would love to spec this and ship, should break but new enough to not break anything
<ydaniv> astearns: is the talk with a11y ppl accessible?
<ydaniv> florian: was one-off offline
<ydaniv> s/florian/flackr/
<ydaniv> astearns: so expect regardless we should get a wider group of a11y ppl to take a look
<ydaniv> flackr: for sure, we can spec and get a wider review
<ydaniv> ... one thing was outline, we'll need a visual mode, which I have some reservations about, could be a 3rd mode we'll have in the future
<ydaniv> fantasai: you could mark an issue in the spec and link to GH to refer folks
<ydaniv> flackr: previously we had a talk about it, and now after consulting a11y it feels the right thing
<ydaniv> astearns: a bit a lot of details...
<ydaniv> astearns: fine with proposal, expecting we'll continue this later
<ydaniv> ... other opinions?
<ydaniv> PROPOSED RESOLUTION: adapt the rest of may 29th proposal with the Tabs links terminology
<ydaniv> astearns: objections?
<ydaniv> RESOLVED: adapt the rest of may 29th proposal with the Tabs links terminology
