I think a review of the test suite is in order. I haven't checked recently, but my impression was that it was very shallow testing, that didn't check much beyond the syntax of things, and made little attempt to confirm that the behavior observed was indeed the expected one. If that's been addressed since last time I looked, great, but if not, we're going to need more tests.
