To clarify, I’m not entirely sure I understand the specific scenarios this suggestion is intended to address. Could you expand on what is meant by:

> These actors can introduce observable, origin-independent visual changes, creating fingerprinting vectors, UI integrity risks, and ambiguity around the source of color adjustments.

In particular, it would be helpful to see concrete examples - e.g., which features in the spec you believe these technologies or extensions would be interacting with in this way, and how you imagine those interactions to manifest in practice.
