> @plinss this issue (one of several on related topics) has been trying to talk to you for months. So yes, talking to you was our @svgeesus You really do ***not*** want to try shift blame to me here. The issues with the server not being able to keep up with crawlers have been known for *years*[1]. I've been paying literally thousands of dollars per year and spending my own valuable time maintaining these servers for *years* without any semblance of a plan to either 1) fund the servers, 2) fund my time, or 3) move away from having me pay for everything. This is on top of the tens of thousands of dollars I've spent participating in TAG and CSSWG meetings without sponsorship. Have I not been responding to every single GH issue complaining about the servers? Sure, because there's no point in my spending more of my time reacting to every single reiteration of known issues without anything being done about it except complaining to me. You're all very ready and eager to ping me when something breaks, yet crickets when talking about how to actually fix anything or shift the burden away from me. The WG, with members worth literally *trillions* of dollars, has been very happy to keep taking advantage of my time, effort, and money as long as I kept the servers limping along. I've actually chosen to not spend any more effort keeping those servers going, aside from the most basic functionality, as a forcing function to get someone to step up and take over. I'm glad something is finally happening. Leaning on me for all this time has been seriously unreasonable and I'm done with it. On that note, what's there *still* isn't at a point where the legacy servers can be retired, and I *still* don't see any concrete plan to get there (if there is one, no one has bothered to tell me about it). So here's another forcing function: I'm going to stop paying for the servers at the end of this month. You can either find a way to fund them, replace them, or deal with them not being there. There are also other (and better) ways to reach me than pinging me in GH issues, and you know that. [1] And many of those crawlers that keep overpowering the servers are actually run by WG member orgs. -- GitHub Notification of comment by plinss Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12743#issuecomment-3894298496 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
