Unlike Chinese and Japanese, Hangul should not have automatic spacing when used alongside either ideographic or non-ideographic characters. Therefore, from a spacing perspective, it is appropriate to categorize Hangul as "Neutral" belonging to neither group as illustrated in the diagram above.
