> Older version of Windows like Windows XP allowed users to customise the UI typeface, and that is what should be used if CSS system-ui was available at that time. This is definitely the fault on Microsoft on removing customisation options for end users, but I digress. I see. However, this fact does not fix the problem that a Chinese/Japanese font is allocated to Japanese/Chinese text in a Chinese/Japanese OS expect for Noto Sans CJK or Source Han Sans. I doubt that the current specifications have an UA allocate Microsoft YaHei UI or PinFang SC for a Chinese text where lang=zh even in a Japanese OS. -- GitHub Notification of comment by tats-u Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3658#issuecomment-3306416777 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
