'Stack' isn't ideal for multiple reasons: 1. It confuses with the actual CSS stacking context (`z-index`). 2. "Stacking" is almost always exclusively a vertical concept. It's odd to consider something horizontally 'stacking' - since there's no 'gravity' allowing them to stack. 3. A 'stack' already has a much broader abstract data type connotation (e.g. 'push' and 'pop' off the stack). -- GitHub Notification of comment by nathanchase Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12022#issuecomment-3436676484 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
