@valler totally get where you're coming from, my patience has worn thin after waiting 20 years for design basics like `leading`. **My 2 cents...** - We don't use the term `leading` if it doesn't do what `leading` does (adjusts the space between lines) - We don't introduce made-up terms like `half-leading`, when `leading` doesn't even work like `leading` **The bottom line** Whatever happens, we get a solution to adjust the spacing between lines, without changing the visual position of text. To me, the human race has already solved this issue, it's called `leading`. But when I read through the specs, proposals and comments, I worry the beautiful simplicity of `leading` has been lost. -- GitHub Notification of comment by sciascia Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/11364#issuecomment-3433866718 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
