If you can come up with a better way to allow animating between two anchored positions (a reasonably common use-case for JS-based tooltips - a tooltip flying between different elements, or flying between two layout positions due to overflow causing it to switch), feel free to suggest it. We put a lot of thought into it and couldn't come up with anything better. :/
