The more author control we offer here, the more likely user-hostile the feature becomes – even if we put in some wcag-based boundaries at the extremes of zoom or minimum font sizing. I don't think we should only consider the letter of the zoom-rules, but also _as a user, I want final control over font-sizing_. Zoom and shrink should work at any size, because that's the control users have. Looking at the old [FitText](https://github.com/davatron5000/FitText.js) jquery plugin, they don't separate growth and shrinking, only an _agressiveness_ – and then min and max values. I'd be curious about approaches that focus more on establishing the safe range, rather than a percentage of movement. -- GitHub Notification of comment by mirisuzanne Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12885#issuecomment-3524634901 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
