> We now have an [interactivity property](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-ui-4/#propdef-interactivity) that only goes the other way with interactivity: inert, so adding an interactivity: focusable value seems like the natural next step. Presumably any philosophical arguments around controlling focus with CSS would have also applied to that. I just want to note in fairly strong terms that there is actually _quite_ a lot of negative feedback and pushback on that (https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10711) and I don't believe this should be held up as 'done' or something which should be expanded on or a hole that should be dug deeper at this point. -- GitHub Notification of comment by bkardell Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/13040#issuecomment-3487102861 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
