Just following up on this as Chrome seems to have planned to [release `progress()ยด in v135](https://chromestatus.com/feature/5112558941634560) next week. (Apologies if I'm reading the status incorrectly.)

It is published in the [Working Draft](https://www.w3.org/TR/css-values-5/#progress) with a note that `This section is an exploratory draft, and not yet approved by the CSSWG`. I can't find any official resolutions in #6245 either.
