`random(match-element, 100px, 200px)` reads as "I want the random() function to match the element's identity" which does not express the idea that the value will be shared across elements. Some ideas from AI that I somewhat liked: `element-shared`, `all-elements`, `selector-shared` , `shared-across`. Perhaps some shuffling around of those nouns and adjectives can find a good name :) -- GitHub Notification of comment by nt1m Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/11742#issuecomment-2708387121 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
