> Even in Apple's demos of the liquid glass effect, there are many issues regarding the loss of contrast. Please keep in mind the Fall OS releases are in a first developer beta, and also that there are **_Increased Contrast_** modifications to the "liquid glass" user interface treatments available in all Apple platforms that were not demoed yesterday. Many of the developer preview screen shots I've seen circulating the web contain bugs that will be resolved before the final 26.0 release. There is also existing support for `@media (prefers-contrast: more)` in modern web engines. Web developers implementing glass-like effects can and should use the existing contrast media feature until such a time when a reasonable CSS privacy model allows for the potential inclusion of additional, more specific media features. -- GitHub Notification of comment by cookiecrook Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3488#issuecomment-2960890798 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
