Hi @longsonr, thank you for chiming in with a Firefox perspective! @goldenboy777 has proposed a concrete set of tests, in https://github.com/web-platform-tests/wpt/pull/53186, for the behavior Chromium is hoping to ship. Based on https://wpt.fyi/results/svg/styling?label=experimental&label=master&aligned, it looks like Firefox passes the `image-sizing-min-content.tentative.svg` test, but does not pass any of the `nested-svg-sizing*.svg` tests. So I think "Firefox is consistent with Chrome" is not correct, or at least, it won't be correct after @goldenboy777 works to ship their change. Could you look at the tests proposed, and let us know if they seem reasonable to you? We'd like to ship this improvement in Chromium soon, but if there's something specifically objectionable about the proposed semantics, we'd like to know that ASAP. -- GitHub Notification of comment by domenic Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12376#issuecomment-3138351577 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
