Is anyone using `[attr|=base]` at all? This issue is now basically asking for a shortcut `.foo-*` for existing `[class|=foo]` **except** that pipe matching only works for the first entry of a space separated list of values, i.e. `<a class="bar foo-quuz">` would not be matched but `<a class="foo-quuz bar">` and `<a class="foo foo-quuz">` would. -- GitHub Notification of comment by Crissov Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10001#issuecomment-2582613067 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
