Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-color-4] What if legacy colors *also* interpolated in Oklab by default? (#7948)

So, over a year on, where are we?

- WPT still tests for gradients interpolating in `sRGB` by default
- no browser has changed to `oklab` by default, either in production or in an opti-in testing mode
   - so we have no data about real-world acceptability and breakage
 - the spec has said `oklab` by default for 18 months
   - browsers newly implementing this have to reverse-engineer "what browsers really do"
