To me a `none` corner implies that it would look like this: potentially confusions with "straight": - `straight` is a homophone for "strait" the body of water (like the Strait of Gibraltar) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strait - There's also the phrase "dire straits" which gives the root word "strait" a third meaning. - `straight` is also relatively difficult to spell. Easy to mix up the `a` and `i`. (I've literally done this a number of times while writing this post) - in isolation a `straight` corner to me would look like angle/bevel. As it is a single straight line. the shape we are talking about is 2 straight lines connecting at 90deg Why "square": - the isolated corner looks like a carpenters/framing square (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_square) - possible negative: i guess this could be confused with the `notch` shape which you could call an inset square?? -- GitHub Notification of comment by jsnkuhn Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/11607#issuecomment-2661634078 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
