I'm not suggesting there be complete parity between `corner-shape` and css-shape functions. I can however see a potential frustration from devs with `corner-shape` coming SO close to what they are looking for but not quite getting there ("if only i could round all those those corners"). I'd also like to push back at the "If `corner-shape` doesn't quite make it they'll just use css-shape functions etc.". I believed this for a long time because this is how it's always worked for _me_ but since starting answering CSS question in Kevin Powell's discord a few years ago I've run into so many cases where instead of using the slightly more complicated CSS property that is fit for the job (polygon() fits this bill) the devs respond with: "Oh, that looks too complicated. I'm just going to change the design." -- GitHub Notification of comment by jsnkuhn Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10653#issuecomment-2628624256 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
