Let’s assume `border-color` was listified, `…-width` and `…-style` were not.
~~~~ css
foo {
border-width: 1ex;
border-style: dotted none double;
border-color: red, blue, green;
}
~~~~
As an author, would you expect dots alternating between red, blue and green for the top _dotted_ border? 🔴🔵🟢
For the bottom _double_ border, what would you expect?
- 🟥⬜️🟥 two red lines with a gap between them
- 🟩⬜️🟩 two green lines with a gap between them
- 🟥⬜️🟦 inner red line, transparent gap, outer blue line
- 🟦⬜️🟥 outer red line, transparent gap, inner blue line
- 🟥🟦🟩 inner red line, blue ”gap“, outer green line
- 🟩🟦🟥 outer red line, blue ”gap“, inner green line
- 🟥🟥🟦🟦🟩🟩 two inner red lines with gap, two blue lines with gap and two outer green lines with gap
- 🟩🟩🟦🟦🟥🟥 two outer red lines with gap, two blue lines with gap and two inner green lines with gap
~~~~ css
bar {
border: inset 1ex green;
border-color: red, blue;
writing-mode: vertical-rl;
}
~~~~
Do the lighter border sides use a shade of green, red or blue, or one red and one blue?
Bonus question: are they at the right and bottom edges?
