Proposed follow-up async resolution: `The 'syntax' descriptor always returns the serialization of the syntax definition`. - Note: We resolved in https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12258 that attributes should generally return serialized CSS as opposed to returning internally-held values directly. I think the proposed resolution is aligned with that. - Note: There is a theoretical web compat risk here, but as far as I can tell it would only affect whitespace. I suggest that we assume that this is an acceptable change, and I'll report back here if an investigation shows otherwise.
