For reference, w3c/css-houdini-drafts#1132 could be closed by a change following the proposed resolution. It would be great to clarify at the same time, whether `@property/syntax` must always serialize as a `<string>`, even when specified as a `<syntax>` by the author, noting that WPT currently expects it to serialize with *exactly* the same `<string>` (instead of serializing the result of [consume a syntax definition](https://drafts.css-houdini.org/css-properties-values-api-1/#consume-a-syntax-definition)). -- GitHub Notification of comment by cdoublev Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/11426#issuecomment-3606681651 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
