Yes, thanks for the confirmation @longsonr I gave the example to point out that fact, and the feature https://chromestatus.com/feature/5178789386256384 aims to support CSS styles on nested svg element width/height in Chromium. We also have already raised a signal for Firefox https://github.com/mozilla/standards-positions/issues/1243 regarding this feature. That being said this particular issue https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12376 was opened to discuss the impact/resolution of different CSS values of width and height properties for SVG elements in general as the SVG/CSS spec is lacking in that regard. (Pls refer to discussion in https://github.com/WebKit/standards-positions/issues/509 for more details) Turning back to our original discussion, as you mentioned for the viewport units Firefox takes vw and vh and percentage of the viewport (browser/initial viewport). Do you think we should keep that behaviour and update our proposal accordingly? -- GitHub Notification of comment by goldenboy777 Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/12376#issuecomment-3149921817 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
