Chrome/FF implementations (cannot speak about Webkit) suggest making exceptions to this (as already reported by @stiiin [above](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9555#issuecomment-2585761035)): > Nor are any of those values used inside `<color-mix()>` or in relative color syntax. And if I understand your [comment](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9555#issue-1974606742) correctly: > But there is no good reason to exclude `device-cmyk()` there [in `override-colors`]. You also suggested allowing `device-cmyk()` in `override-colors`. So I would like to clarify whether your suggestion is rejected and these implementations are incorrect, or whether exceptions should be made to the above restriction. -- GitHub Notification of comment by cdoublev Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9555#issuecomment-2819944220 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
