Looking at this resolution: > RESOLVED; *if* a browser does synthesis of oblique, there SHOULD be at least one synthesized font in each direction I am not sure how to incorporate it into the current text. Synthesis is already required to be in the correct direction, and the `font-style` property and corresponding descriptor now accept the new `left` and `right` values.
