What I'm seeing in Chrome is that creating a scroll-driven animation puts it in the `pending` state originally. So, I _think_ the [play procedure](https://drafts.csswg.org/web-animations-2/#playing-an-animation-section) is missing a step explaining that a pending play task is scheduled during step 10 when we abort. -- GitHub Notification of comment by graouts Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10965#issuecomment-2381123373 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
