> We actually had such API in WebKit `window.getMatchedCSSRule()`, which was deprecated in 2014 and removed later. TIL. Note that the feature requested here – or at least in [my interpretation](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10002#issuecomment-1965139217) / [see examples](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10002#issuecomment-2175826840) – is more limited than `getMatchedCSSRule()`. It’s limited to getting only the [specified value](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-cascade-5/#specified-value) of a property, not to get all the rules that target the element. -- GitHub Notification of comment by bramus Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10002#issuecomment-2348827706 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
