andruud has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-values-5] Forwards compatibility for inline `if()` == Regardless of the outcome of #10064, should we implement something like `<general-enclosed>` for forwards compat? For example: ``` background: if( future-thing(...): blue, style(--status:error): red, style(--status:warning): yellow, else: green ); ``` In the above, we probably want `future-thing(...)` to evaluate to `false`, rather than making the whole `if` invalid? @LeaVerou @tabatkins Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10818 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
