Firefox does have custom-sized scrollbars. Type `about:config` in the url bar to access advanced settings, then set `widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style` to `3` (for some resizable scrollbars that look like the normal ones), `widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override` to `32` or some other value, depending on the size you want (32 is about twice the normal size). This allows you to set up scrollbars that fit your needs and tastes based on your environment.
