Hello, UI Designer / Front end dev here. I've already had this type of layout several time and it always was a nightmare / so ugly to solve using only current css properties, masonry would be such a useful property to have. Here's are recent examples of this layout for my company's website : I vote to make it part of `display: grid;` as it is more intuitive to me given how similar the concept of the layouts are and to ensure we'll always have the same functionalities available than for grid. -- GitHub Notification of comment by Pelm3shka Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10233#issuecomment-2086034817 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
