> To be clear, this issue blocks actually carrying out #8738. The more we mess around with the details here, the higher the risk that no change will happen at all. That was not the resolution at all. Please implement the `@nest` rule as currently specced by @tabatkins. It is far, _far_ easier to change the details of that than to change the current behavior of nesting later.
