I recently updated my [Font Lister](https://r12a.github.io/scripts/fontlist/) page, which lists fonts available on macOS and Windows11 platforms, plus Noto fonts, and SIL fonts. There are over 800 fonts for 154 Unicode scripts. Those pages group fonts into categories, which i tried to align with potential generic font names. The result of that is described in the wiki page [Generic font families](https://github.com/w3c/i18n-discuss/wiki/Generic-font-families). I came up with a proposed set of initial generic font names to cover all those pre-installed and Noto/SIL fonts. Does that help? cc @svgeesus @frivoal -- GitHub Notification of comment by r12a Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/4910#issuecomment-1792441559 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
