Thanks for this example, I now agree that the `parent` would be less ambiguous, even though my initial thoughts were similar to Tab's — `inherit` has its meaning that would be obvious _if you know how it works_, but I see value in making this more friendly to developers who did not yet fully understand what “inherit” really means.
