These issues might be relevant: - [#2496](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/2496) where the shortcomings of `position: sticky` is covered and it's suggested that `sticky` should be it's own property. - [#8905](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/8905) Where it's proposed that anchor positioning could be used to define the sticky inset.
