Since we’re all in agreement, let’s try and get an async resolution. Proposed resolutions _(rewritten from what flackr@ [said](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9010#issue-1777076777) above)_ are:

1. Add the web-animations `Animation` object for the animation / transition to the `animation*`/`transition*` events
2. Name the property `animation`
