I'm having some trouble imagining what kind of issues/missing features having 3D shapes would resolve. Certainly, it would expand dynamic decorative possibilities, but I think that's secondary to usability and incorporation. In our current state, however, I can only see it being used to draw background-image or the likes. > I think the consensus is "3D is hard" It kind of is? There's more to 3D than just the shapes themselves you'd need to implement, and that's relatively syntax-heavy as is. For starters, I don't think it's possible to define a torus, or any 3d polygons with holes, with the current proposed syntax. -- GitHub Notification of comment by SYwaves Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/8652#issuecomment-1506867236 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
