Possible approach: define a `font-palette: auto` value, which automatically takes account of the color-scheme and uses the appropriate light or dark palette (if present). Perhaps that should even be the initial value, or the behavior of `normal`? Alternatively, it is of course possible to use media queries. But `font-palette: auto` seems like a much more convenient tool for authors. -- GitHub Notification of comment by jfkthame Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/7783#issuecomment-1271498310 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
